Category targeting is basically the same thing as keyword targeting, but with

better management support. (In essence, you will be able to link ads to categories,

and zones to categories, and then ad/zone linking on the basis of matching categories will be done automatically, while still allowing you to create manual ad/zone links.)

Procedure:
           1. Login as admin

2. create new banner for category-targeting with height and width should be same as your zone then also select one category type you need.

3. Finally go for a zone properties->linked banners. You need to link that banner where you will have a drop down box named as “please choose what to link to this zone” from that select link banners by category, then you will get a drop down named as “select a category type” select the category you had given for banners, link as what you do for others.
